Argentine Tango Private Lessons
Tangopuro® didactics by Alejandro Angelica
The didactics of the private lessons is based on the Tangopuro® system, developed by Alejandro Angelica in almost thirty years of research and analysis of the movement and of the various factors that shape Argentine tango, its improvisational components and the relationship with music, as well as the connection factors between the weights that allow communication and partner symbiosis, the different visions of movement and learning.
During the individual private lessons will be explore all styles and rhythms: apilado (milonguero), tango nuevo and tango show (for expert dancers and choreographers), milonga (a faster rhythm than tango), canyengue (the first form of tango danced in 1900), vals cruzado (the tango waltz), tangopuro (all the possibilities of balance and improvisation), walking technique and preparatory exercises to improve body awareness created specifically for tango.

The didactic approach has been developed and implemented thanks to the long teaching experience by Alejandro Angelica carried out almost all over the world, from Asia to Europe, from Latin America to the Middle East.

The system is currently formalised in a systematic way to encourage the learning of amateurs and training qualified teachers with an authentic and unique approach to guarantee the gradualness and assimilation of the principles and their applications.
Various essential factors will be analysed and studied to progress and become aware of one’s abilities and the points to be perfected.
Some of the factors we could look into:
- musicality
- movement quality
- reciprocal listening, perception
- spacial projection
- embrace
- posture
- tango walk
- marcación (Leading and following technique)
In addition, various typical sequences and movement mechanisms with their respective embellishments can be explored.
Particular emphasis and attention will be given, in the highest levels, to the principles of improvisation and musicality and the ability to dance in a social environment.
